Asian Beef with Noodles

Adapted from Stephanie Cooks

Ingredients:
2 Lbs. of Stew Meat
1 16 oz. Package of Stir Fry Vegetables
1 16-20 Oz. Bottle of Stir Fry Sauce ( I use Panda Express's Mandarin Sauce sold at Wal-Mart)
2/3-3/4 Cup Hot water
1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 Pkgs. Beef Ramen Noodles
Green Onion (optional)

Directions:
Coat a 4-6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place frozen vegetables in the bottom and top with stew meat. Heat water til boiling, add in 1 packet of the beef flavoring from the ramen noodles, stir til dissolved. Pour in a medium bowl and add stir fry sauce and red pepper. Pour over meat and vegetables, and mix.
Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours or on high for 4 1/2-5 hours. (If short on time cook on high for 2 hours, and then on low for 4 hours. I recommend low because it helps break down the meat more.)
At the end of cooking time add in the ramen noodles. Stir noodles and green onions into meat mixture. Cover and let stand 10 minutes more. Stir before serving. This can be kept on warm for 1-2 hours.

Review:
This is a delicious meal, like a stir fry but really simple and easy clean up. It's gotten rave reviews from our family and friends who have tasted it. Trust me it does taste better than it looks! 3.5 Stars.
